The GamekeeperSports shooting · a field clays walk
A social countryside shoot for people who enjoy the challenge and company of a game shoot, without live quarry.
The idea
The group walks together across suitable, permissioned farmland. At planned points, clay targets are presented from discreetly positioned traps to give the day the changing pace and shared anticipation of a walked-up shoot.
It is designed around the social side of the day: moving through the countryside, sharing the experience and taking turns at agreed stations. No birds or other live quarry are shot.

Each station, trap position, firing direction, access route and safe separation must suit the actual land and conditions.
Every request is reviewed personally. Price, inclusions, date and payment terms are confirmed in writing.
A planned event, not an open range
This format is only offered where the land, permissions, site-specific assessment, firing positions, expected arcs, trap operation, access and supervision can be planned for that event. The party does not walk into an active firing position. Movement between stations happens only when shooting has stopped and the person in overall control gives the agreed signal.
The final layout and briefing depend on the land and conditions. If a safe, suitable plan cannot be confirmed, the activity or date will not go ahead. All participants follow the same private participant checks and sporting terms used for game shoots.
Ordinary rain, cold and mud are expected. Thunder or lightning, flooding or another dangerous condition means we postpone and arrange a new date. Read the sporting terms and cancellation and refund policy.
Offering your own land?
Land registration is a separate review. It does not automatically approve a clay event; the site, landowner agreement and each proposed arrangement still need to be checked.
