Information, enquiries and bookings

Website content is general information, not legal, firearms, land-management or veterinary advice. Conditions on land and the law can change, so specific arrangements must be checked for each job or event.

A submitted form is an enquiry only. It does not reserve a date, approve land, authorise access, create permission to use a firearm, confirm pest-control work or form a booking. An arrangement exists only when The Gamekeeper has confirmed the essential details and applicable terms in writing. Sporting customers must also accept the separate sporting booking terms through their private account.

Your information

You must provide information that is accurate, current and given with authority. If you submit details about land or another person, you must be entitled to do so and must not misrepresent ownership, occupation, permission, identity, age, experience or eligibility.

You are responsible for keeping account access links and private correspondence secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or link has been used without permission.

Land and sporting activity

Registration does not mean land has been accepted or that any activity may begin. Boundaries, authority, access, suitability, neighbours, livestock, crops, public rights of way, insurance, police requirements and any other relevant restrictions must be reviewed before use.

No person may participate merely because an enquiry or attendance record exists. Final participation remains subject to written arrangements, the law, insurance, safety instructions, site conditions and any identity, age, certificate or competency checks that apply.

Shop, gift cards and payments

The current shop is a collection preview and does not accept orders. Products, stock, prices, delivery terms and consumer cancellation information will be published before checkout opens. Gift cards are not currently on sale.

Where an individually agreed service payment request is issued, payment does not by itself confirm or alter a booking. The written service arrangements remain authoritative. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious material, scrape private information, impersonate another person or submit unlawful, threatening, misleading or abusive content. We may restrict access, remove submissions or report activity where reasonably necessary to protect people, land, records or the service.

Intellectual property and links

The website design, wording, branding and original imagery belong to The Gamekeeper or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own lawful personal use, but may not reproduce, sell or commercially exploit them without written permission.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Those services control their own content, availability and privacy practices.

Availability and responsibility

We take reasonable care over the site but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website information or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing here excludes responsibility where exclusion would be unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Law and changes

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts with the appropriate legal jurisdiction may hear a dispute. We may revise these terms as the service develops; the date above identifies the current version.
